Published by on januari 31, 2008

Free Internet in an environment of high class designed furniture at iPhoneCafé. It is in Stockholm and it’s for early adapters of iPhones. Even before it is out in Sweden people are addicted to this magic phone. It has already become a culture in how to unlock the iPhone (do you see the card in their picture?).

Update: 2 February: After this post did the iPhoneCafé sold out everything in 3 hours. This Photo is Apple coffee cool.

Update: 17 February: Buy an iChari and get an iPhone for free! It is a 16GB 1.1.3 model iPhone and you get it for free if you buy a chair… That’s cool and that made in pure passion from early adopters.

Manwhore a brand with attitude

Published by on januari 30, 2008

http://www.teammanwhore.com/site/images/press/team7-0910-0416.jpgIt looks like a combination of street and Circus fashion and it is a brand with attitude.

Team manwhore started out as group of broke Swedes riding snow. Named for their commitment to keep on going, and, according to rumour, the ways rent was paid, they made their way. Today lifestyle has evolved to include music and design. While mixing and matching tunes, the team shape street fashion under the name Uniforms for the Dedicated together, a collection made for the people of a desire. Teammanwhore.com

Their site has got attitude and a blog, but I think their MySpace profile is more personal because of their hang around friends.

Bad taste music at trendy club Sunkit

Published by on januari 29, 2008

Every first Monday in the month, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m they sing and dance to bad taste music at Sunkit is a club in Stockholm.

Sunkit is a club in Stockholm. Sunkit is also an online magazine, museum, and – sometimes – radio. We are devoted to what’s known as incredibly strange music. We search the unknown and forgotten, hidden in the vaults of shame because it doesn’t fit in what’s considered »good«. Sunkit.com

Bad taste is more interesting than good taste in many ways that’s why I love 1970s. Did blog about bad taste before “the bad taste is big business.”

The end of advertising as we know it

Published by on januari 28, 2008

IBM report is basically ONE more point in how consumer power demands change:

Imagine an advertising world where… spending on interactive, one-to-one advertising formats surpasses traditional, one-to-many advertising vehicles, and a significant share of ad space is sold through auctions and exchanges. Advertisers know who viewed and acted on an ad, and pay based on real impact rather than estimated “impressions.” Consumers self-select which ads they watch and share preferred ads with peers. User-generated advertising is as prevalent (and appealing) as agency-created spots. IBM Institute for Business Value study

Hackers call to action for Hong Kong Light Show

Published by on januari 23, 2008

The Skyline in Hong Kong is spectacular. As you can see in this movie it attract big audience. It is a smart tap into the Asian passion for fireworks.

Hong Kong Light Show is performed every day 8 pm. The spectacular light show are connected by Internet from computer. This online light show will give Hong Kong the potential of reaching millions people. If they not allow YOU and me to direct the light show online from our computers, some hackers will do so (I don’t recommend it but I do think it will happen – because its fun and it can be done).

This spectacular multimedia display, already named the “World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show” by Guinness World Records, has been further expanded to include 44 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour. Discoverhongkong.com
